miles southeast of Fairbanks, AK. Eielson AFB is home
to 168th Air Refueling Group, Air Force Artic Survival
School, Alaska Air National Guard Search and Recovery
Detachment, and 354th Fighter Wing, to name a few. There
are over 2,700 active duty along with 6,000 dependents,
reservists and civilians on base.
