NSGA Fort Meade is a tenant command serving with the Fort George G. Meade Garrison in Maryland. The mission is to provide administrative and personnel support to all Navy personnel assigned to this command and other commands in the Baltimore/Washington corridor. NSGA Fort Meade is located near the communities of Columbia, Odenton, Severn, Jessup, and Laurel. Naval Security Group Activity, Fort Meade is the largest Naval Security Group Activity with a complement of over 2500 officer, enlisted, and civilian personnel, and is subject to the area coordination of Commandant, Naval District Washington.
