Patuxent River NAS is
located about 60 miles south of Washington, DC at the
mouth of the Patuxent River and the Chesapeake Bay.
Patuxent houses such units as Naval Air Warfare Center
Aircraft Divisions and Naval Air Systems Command along
with 50 other tenants. There are over 13, 000 active
duty, dependents and civilians aboard base.
